Add a Carousel

  1. Select the Additional Options tab.
  2. Select Yes to add options.
  3. Select the Add a Carousel or Full Width Slider checkbox.
  4. Select Yes to Use a Carousel or Full Width Slider.
  5. Select Centered to Full Width or Centered Column.
  6. Select whether to use navigational arrows. The arrows will be on the centered horizontally and vertically on the left and right of the carousel.
    1. If using navigational arrows, you can select the color and hover color of the arrows. Color transparency available.
  7. Select whether to use navigation dots. The dots will be at the bottom of the carousel.
    1. If using navigational dots, you can select the color of the active dot. Color transparency available. The non-active dot will be black.
  8. You will need to add at least 4 images for the carousel to work well.
    1. Give the carousel item a name. This shows as the first line item under the carousel image.
    2. Give the carousel item a title. This shows as the second line item under the carousel image.
    3. Upload an image to use for the carousel item.
    4. Give the carousel item image an ALT tag. This is beneficial for SEO.
    5. Add a full URL The carousel item image will link to the URL provided. It does open a new page.
  9. If desired, add additional content that will display under the carousel (as seen here). This is basically a second WordPress WYSIWYG content editor.
  10. Set the top and bottom padding for the carousel wrapper.
